Finishes Corps School
Navy Hospitalman Jules DeGraff Jr., son of Jacinta Flores of Richmond Hill and Jules DeGraff Sr. of Trenton, New Jersey, recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Illinois.
During the 14-week course, DeGraff learned a wide range of medical procedures used to provide first aid and assist Navy doctors and nurses. DeGraff also received an introductory instruction for service in a variety of medical environments, from fleet hospitals and ship-board medical departments to fleet Marine forces and medical administration offices.
DeGraff is a 1999 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Flushing and joined the Navy in June 2002.
