FRANK PETER CORDASCO died on December 20, 2002 at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Ann, loving father of Dr. Frank A. Cordasco, and father-in-law of Monique, cherished grandfather of Michela and Luke. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mass of Christian Burial was followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cutchogue, New York, under the direction of the Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth.

JOSEPH F. JEDLICKA died on December 17, 2002. He was the devoted father of Susan Burke, Joseph H. and Bruce; also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a life time member of the Masons. Services were held at the Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, officiated by Pastor Terrence L. Weber of Trinity-St. Andrews Lutheran Church . Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery.

OLA MAE COX died on December 18, 2002. She was the devoted mother of Sue Carol Lee. Services were held at the Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, followed by cremation in Fresh Pond Crematory.

CINDY CUCCIAS of Ridgewood died on December 18, 2002 at the age of 36. A native of New York, she was the loving daughter of Harriet Cuccias, dear sister of Gary and Bill Smith; also survived by many cousins. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Avenue, Ridgewood.

JOHN FORST of Glendale died on December 21, 2002 at the age of 72. He was the loving husband of Rita, devoted father of Linda Englert, Cathy, and John; also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Pancras Church, followed by interment in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Schwille Funeral Home, 66-32 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale.

JANE RUMPH of Brooklyn, died on December 9, 2002 at the age of 80. A native of Brooklyn, she was the dear sister of James, fond aunt of Dorothy Thornton, cousin of Irene Moran, Arleen and Dianne Thornton; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Bridget’s Church, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Peter J. BETTI LOTTI SONNTAG of Jackson Heights died on December 6, 2002 at the age of 68. A native of Wuppertal, Germany, she was the niece of Claudia Hentschel of Borsdorf, Germany and dear friend of Sigrid Wahner of Jackson Heights. Cremation was private with ashes interred in Friedhofsverwaltung Borsdorf, Borsdorf, Germany. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Peter J. She was the widow of the late Joseph, devoted mother of Anthony, Frank and Lucille Krzewski, dear sister of Sadie Fricano, loving grandmother of Joseph, Saundra, Michael, Andrea, Charles Raymond and Elizabeth; also survived by Rose Sparacio, Marie Strianese, Mary Jo Sparacio and Charles Krzewski. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Margaret’s Church, followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery. DOROTHY J. FERSTLER of Whiting, New Jersey, formerly of Brooklyn, died on December 19, 2002 at the age of 91. She was the widow of the late Leonard, loving mother of Donald of Sunnyside and Leonard of Ridgewood and Virginia of El Sobrante, California, dear sister of Edith Reichling of Whiting, New Jersey; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was an administrative secretary at Bethany Deaconess Hospital and retired in 1977. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Brooklyn, for fifty years. Services were held at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, A Dignity Provider, Whiting, New Jersey, followed by interment in Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting, New Jersey.
