Glendale’s Sacred Heart School showcased the talents of its students by presenting two sold-out performances of its annual variety show recently. This year’s production was “Welcome to the 21st Century,” featuring songs from 2000 to the present. Pictured above are second graders who showed their stuff during a rousing rendition of “Let’s Get Loud.”
Strumming a song for the future, first graders were ready to rock in “Year 3000” during their number in Sacred Heart School’s Variety Show.
These Sacred Heart School seventh graders had all the right moves in their dancing to “Don’t Stop the Music.”
Colorful umbrellas and balloons decorated the stage during the “All for One” number featuring these third graders.
These fourth graders provided a performance that was nothing short of “Fabulous” at Sacred Heart School’s Variety Show.
There was no stopping the fist-pumping fifth graders who performed the “Cha Cha Slide” at Sacred Heart School’s Variety Show.y
Audience members sitting front and center truly had ringside seats as sixth graders belted out “It’s My Turn Now.”
Eighth graders won applause from the audience as well as from each other. The Class of 2008 performed “Time for Me to Fly.” Sacred Heart School Principal Joanne Gangi expressed her appreciation for the efforts of parent volunteers, especially event co-chairs Rita McGarry and Noreen Fahey, for making the show a success.
