Celebrating With Art And Music Students’ works of art were showcased at the Music and Art Festival at the 51st Avenue Academy (P.S. 877) in Elmhurst last Tuesday, June 3. Each student’s art was matted and framed by the company Kids Art, enhancing the exhibition. In addition, many of the fourth and fifth graders performed on the violin, viola, with band and chorus. Art teacher Kathleen Izzo is pictured with some of the young artists.
