Attic Scorched In Richmond Hill Blaze 
Smoke can be seen rising from the smoldering upper floor of this home on 126th Street in Richmond Hill following a one-alarm fire on Sunday morning, June 8. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 8 a.m. at the two-story dwelling near 107th Avenue. Members of Engine companies 285, 298, 302, 303 and 308; Ladder companies 126, 142 and 155; Squad Company 270; Rescue 4; and Battalions 50 and 51 responded to the scene under the direction of Division 13. Officers from the 106th Precinct and EMS units also responded to the location. Fire Department sources said the blaze was brought under control at around 9 a.m. No injuries were reported.
