Injured After Pole Hits Rear Window
 The driver of this sedan was seriously injured after the vehicle struck a utility pole that crashed through the rear windshield in Woodhaven at around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday night, July 22, Fire Department sources reported. According to an FDNY spokesperson, the accident occurred at the intersection of Park Lane South and 85th Street. Members of Engine Company 293, Ladder Company 143, the 102nd Precinct and the Woodhaven/Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the scene.
