Four people, including a pedestrian, were injured after a three-car crash at the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard on the Glendale/Forest Hills border last Tuesday night, July 29, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the trouble began at around 6:40 p.m., when the three cars collided at the crossroads. Following the impact, FDNY sources said, one of the vehicles mounted the sidewalk and struck a pedestrian before stopping inside the parking lot of a nearby Wendy's restaurant. Members of Engine Company 319, Ladder Company 151, the 112th Precinct, NYPD Emergency Services Unit, EMS units and the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the scene.
