Subway Changes

The MTA has scheduled a number of service changes for several subway lines throughout the city due to construction work.

These service advisories are current as of Wednesday, Sept. 10. Last minute changes to service and operating schedules may be made due to weather-related conditions or emergency repairs.

Rail lines which run through the area that will be affected include the following:

Local, Express Service

Change On 7 Line

Manhattan-bound 7 express trains run local service between Willets Point-Shea Stadium and Queensboro Plaza on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until noon through Sept. 30. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Additionally, Flushing-bound 7 trains will run express service between Queensboro Plaza and Willets Point-Shea Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 12 from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. During this service change, these trains will stop at Woodside-61st Street and Junction Boulevard.

For service to the 33rd Street, 40th Street, 46th Street, 52nd Street, 69th Street, 74th Street, 82nd Street, 90th Street, 103rd Street and 111th Street stations, take the 7 train to Woodside-61st Street, Junction Boulevard or Willets Point stations, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound 7 train.

For service from these stations, take a Manhattan-bound 7 train to Junction Boulevard, Woodside-61st Street or Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train.

E Trains In Queens

Are Late Night Local

Jamaica-bound E trains will operate local service between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue this weekend, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15. These trains will also operate local service between Roosevelt Avenue and Union Turnpike from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Additionally, Manhattan-bound E trains will run local service between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Plaza during late nights, Friday through Monday, from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Monday, Oct. 6.

Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

E, R Lines Operate

As Late Night Express

Jamaica-bound E trains and Forest Hills-bound R trains will run express service between Roosevelt Avenue and 71st-Continental Avenues on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 12:01 a.m. until midnight.

For service to the 67th Avenue, 63rd Drive, Woodhaven Boulevard, Grand Avenue and Elmhurst Avenue stations, take the E or R train to 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or R train. For service from these stations, take a Manhattan-bound E or R train or a Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Jamaica-bound E train or a Forest Hills-bound R train.

Additionally, Manhattan-bound E trains will run express service between 71st-Continental Avenues and Roosevelt Avenue during late night on Thursday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 12 from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m.

No E Trains Late

Nights To Jamaica

Shuttle buses will replace E trains between Jamaica Center and Union Turnpike during late nights between Tuesday, Sept. 16 and Friday, Sept. 19 from 12:01 a.m. until 5 a.m. Riders can transfer between the shuttle bus and E train at Union Turnpike.

Customers can pick up the free buses at stops near the following E train stations:

• Jamaica Center—at the Q85 bus stop on Archer Avenue at Parsons Boulevard;

• Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue—at Q30 bus stops on Archer Avenue at Sutphin Boulevard;

• Jamaica-Van Wyck—at Q54 bus stops on Metropolitan Avenue at Kew Gardens Road;

• Van Wyck Boulevard—at Q60 bus stops on Queens Boulevard at Main Street; and,

• Union Turnpike—at the Q46 bus stop on Queens Boulevard at 78th Avenue.

Late Night, Weekend

Local Service On F

Manhattan-bound F trains will operate local service between Roosevelt Avenue and 21st Street- Queensbridge during late nights, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 24.

These trains will also operate local service between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Plaza on weekends, Fridays through Mondays, from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Monday, Oct. 6.

Additionally, Jamaica-bound F trains will operate local service between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Avenue during late nights, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 24.

Furthermore, some Manhattanbound F trains may operate local service between 71st-Continental Avenues and 21st Street- Queensbridge during weekday rush hours, Monday through Friday, from 5 a.m. until 10 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 24.

It was also noted that Jamaicabound F trains will operate local service between Roosevelt Avenue and Union Turnpike this weekend, from 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15.

Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time during these periods.

G Train Service Is

Suspended In Qns. G train service between 71st- Continental Avenues and Court Square will be suspended late night on weekends until further notice from 8:30 p.m. Fridays until 5 a.m. Mondays.

For service to points in Brooklyn, take the R train to Queens Plaza and transfer to the E train. Take the E train to 23rd Street-Ely Avenue, where G service is available at the Court Square platform.

For service to points in Queens, transfer to the E train at Court Square, then depart at Queens Plaza for R train local service.

Additionally, G train service will be suspended between Bedford- Nostrand Avenues and Smith-Ninth Streets late night on Thursday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 12 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. During this time period, free shuttle buses will provide alternate service between Court Square and Jay Street-Borough Hall.

G trains operating between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will run every 30 minutes during this service change.

Shuttle buses can be picked up at locations near the following G train stations:

• Court Square—at the B61 bus stop on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue;

• 21st Street—on Jackson Avenue at 21st Street (to Court Square) or the B61 bus stop on Jackson Avenue at 47th Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Greenpoint Avenue—at the B24 bus stop on Greenpoint Avenue at Leonard Street (to Court Square) or the B43 bus stop on Manhattan Avenue at Greenpoint Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Nassau Avenue—at the B61 bus stop on Bedford Avenue at Manhattan Avenue (to Court Square) or the B43 bus stop on Manhattan Avenue at Nassau Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Metropolitan Avenue—at Q59 bus stops on Union Avenue at Metropolitan Avenue;

• Broadway—on Union Avenue at Broadway;

• Flushing Avenue—on Union Avenue at Gerry Street (to Court Square) or the B44 bus stop on Lee Avenue at Flushing Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues— on Marcy Avenue at Myrtle Avenue (to Court Square) or the B44 bus stop on Nostrand Avenue at Myrtle Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Bedford-Nostrand Avenues—at B38 bus stops on Lafayette Avenue at Bedford Avenue (to Court Square) or on DeKalb Avenue at Bedford Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Classon Avenue—at B38 bus stops on Lafayette Avenue at Classon Avenue (to Court Square) or on DeKalb Avenue at Classon Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Clinton-Washington Avenues— at B38 bus stops on Lafayette Avenue at Washington Avenue (to Court Square) or on DeKalb Avenue at Washington Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Fulton Street—at B38 bus stops on Lafayette Avenue at South Portland Avenue (to Court Square) or on DeKalb Avenue at South Portland Avenue (to Jay Street);

• Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets— on Schermerhorn Street at Hoyt Street; and,

• Jay Street—on Jay Street at Willoughby Street.

Split Service On J

Train In Manhattan

J trains will operate in two sections— between Jamaica Center and Essex Street and between Essex Street and Chambers Street—this weekend, from 1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8. Riders may transfer between J trains at Essex Street to continue their trip.
