Glendale Veterans Remember The Fallen


The memories of those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation were honored in Glendale during a Veterans Day ceremony held last Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Glendale Veterans Memorial Triangle at the intersection of Myrtle and Cooper avenues. As noted, the event was made possible by members of the American Legion Post 104 and their Women's Auxiliary. Joining post members in paying tribute to soldiers who served in battle were State Sen.-elect and current City Council Member Joseph Addabbo Jr. and Lt. Jerry Lester of the 104th Precinct.
