Mayor Stops By Brooklyn Unidos Meeting
 Scores of Bushwick and Ridgewood residents turned out last Wednesday night, Nov. 12 at the Ridgewood Bushwick Youth Center to meet Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who spoke at the monthly Brooklyn Unidos meeting. During the session moderated by Assemblyman Vito Lopez, Bloomberg spoke about the city's efforts to curb gun violence and answered questions from the public regarding a variety of issues including the placement of sexual predators in area homes as well as senior citizen programs. Following his presentation, the mayor was presented by Lopez and several members of the RBYC with a depiction of the Gates Avenue facility as a token of gratitude for his visit.
