Ridgewood Home Burned In Blaze
Smoke poured out of a two-story Ridgewood home that was damaged in a one-alarm fire on Monday morning, Nov. 24, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze started at around 9:40 a.m. in the basement of the residence on Centre Street near Seneca Avenue. Members of Engine companies 218, 271, 277 and 286; Ladder companies 112, 124, 135, 140 and 176; Squad Company 288; Rescue 4 and Battalions 28 and 37—under the direction of Division 14—responded to the scene along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units.
