112th Precinct Gives Thanks To Students, Officers
At the 112th Precinct Community Council meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19, the Council honored the winners of their Thanksgiving Art Contest sponsored by Sovereign Bank. The winners, shown in the top photo from left to right in the bottom row, included P.S. 174 students Kayana Donaldson, Leanne Tong, Santiago Guiterrz and Bailey Perkowski, as well as Jacqueline Moon of P.S. 101. Standing behind them, from left to right, are 112th Precinct Capt. Susan Maier-Smith; Capt. Christopher Tamola, the precinct's commanding officer; Precinct Council President Heidi Harrison Chain; Gail Becker, P.S. 174 Parents Association President; P.O. Gigi Redzematovic of the precinct's Community Affairs Unit; and a representative of Sovereign Bank. Not shown are P.S. 196's Sonelra Plotnik, Lucy Lee, Emily Chen and Joshua Go, who also won awards.
