Welcoming New Members To Their Table

While breaking bread together during their annual Thanksgiving luncheon, members of the Kiwanis Club of Glendale installed a new member and recognized the former governor of the state chapter last Thursday, Nov. 20 at Zum Stammtisch restaurant. As shown, Walter Sabolboro (at right) was officially inducted into the club while Past Governor Joe Corace (at center) was made an honorary member of the Glendale group. Each received various tokens of membership including the club's official pin and mug. Club President Joe Aiello (second from right) also presented Corace with a $500 donation on behalf of the club to be donated to the North Shore University Hospital's Pediatric Trauma Center. They are pictured along with (from left to right) Past President David Fitzgerald, who inducted Corace; Lieutenant Governor of the state chapter Wayne Sheriff; and Aiello, who sponsored Sabolboro.
