BW Academy Teams On Road In Maryland
      Gottschee sent a few teams on the road this past weekend, the Academy squads traveling up to Connecticut to take on South Central and the U13A Boys heading down south to Bethesda, Md. to play in a tournament. The other teams were local, in Cosmopolitan League action.

      Johnny Benson and Clint Bowyer have had great seasons. Benson won the Craftsman Truck Series title, and Bowyer held off Carl Edwards to win the Nationwide Series.

Dragons Fall In Tough Loss
      St. Margaret's lost a heartbreaker on Sunday at St. Francis DeSales 19-18 in overtime. Playing with a full squad for the first time this season, the Dragons committed some early fouls, and that combined with the good shooting and ball movement by DeSales led to a 5-2 first-quarter deficit.
