Brooklyn Students Rally With Seniors


Cypress Hills students marched from I.S. 302 to the Cypress Hills/Fulton Street Senior Center, where the teens joined with seniors for a rally to demand the restoration of city funds for intergenerational programs in the Department of the Aging budget last Tuesday, Nov. 25. As noted, the Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation and the Ridgewood/Bushwick Senior Citizens Council are among the 14 agencies that receive funds from the DFTA to provide intergenerational services.
