Liberty Kiwanis Party Had Them Smiling

(photo: Joseph Epstein) A visit with Santa was a special highlight for young guests at the Children's Christmas Party of the Lefferts/Liberty Kiwanis Club, held last Thursday morning, Dec 11 at the Il Palazzo di Villa Russo in Richmond Hill. Club President Carol Verdi and her fellow Kiwanians greeted the 100 children with disabilities and the staff who care for them. As part of the event, lunch was provided and toys were distributed to the children.
