Motorist Cuffed After Boulevard Crash

(photo: Joseph Epstein)The driver of an SUV that smashed into another vehicle and injured an individual along Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park last Thursday, Dec. 18 was reportedly arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the accident occurred at around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and 62nd Road. Members of Engine Company 287, Ladder Company 138, the 112th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The injured individual was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to FDNY sources.
