Bushwick Shop Burned In Blaze

(photo: Joseph Epstein)(photo: Joseph Epstein)Nobody was injured after flames broke out inside a Bushwick store early last Monday morning, Dec. 15, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the onealarm fire started at around 9:35 a.m. inside a shop located near the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Menahan Street. On the scene were members of Engine companies 218, 222, 237, 271 and 277; Ladder companies 112, 124 and 140; Squad Company 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 28 and 37, under the direction of Division 11, along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. Using two hose lines, an FDNY spokesperson said, the blaze was brought under control at around 10:10 a.m.
