NY's Strongest Join Kids For Christmas Fun

Santa Claus took time out of his busy schedule to bring some early Christmas gifts to youngsters at Bushwick's Audrey Johnson Day Care Center last Friday, Dec. 19. As noted, the event was organized in part by the Department of Sanitation, who helped to distribute donated toys collected during the agency's annual "New York's Strongest/Billy Fund" drive to all children in attendance. Among those pictured with some of the children who received early gifts are Julie Dent, the day care center's director and Sanitation Department employees Ronnie Cohen (who made Santa's appearance possible), Kathy Dawkins, Rosa Rizzo and Jackie Thompson.
