One-Alarm Fire At Brooklyn Facility
(photo: Joseph Epstein) Firefighters were summoned to the scene of a one-alarm fire at a commercial establishment on Maspeth Avenue off of Gardner Avenue in Brooklyn at 5 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2008. Using one hose line, the blaze was brought under control in approximately a half-hour. Responding to the fire were FDNY Engine companies 206, 229, 237 and 291; Ladder companies 128, 140 and 146; Squad Company 252; Rescue Unit 2; and Battalions 28 and 45; all under the direction of Division 11, as well as the NYPD's 90th Precinct.
