Getting His Gold Shield

Amid the good cheer at the 110th Precinct Community Council's annual holiday party for children, 110th Precinct commander Deputy Inspector Richard Napolitano (at far left) announced that P.O. Richard Garland (at far right) of the precinct's community affairs unit has been promoted to Detective. The party, held at St. John's Queens Hospital in Elmhurst on Dec. 17, was sponsored by Queens County Savings Bank.
