Greenpoint Wall Fire

(photo: Allen Epstein) Firefighters responded to the scene of a one-alarm wall fire at a Greenpoint residence last Sunday, Jan. 25, it was reported. According to FDNY sources, the blaze broke out at about 1:45 p.m. in the area of Green and West streets. Members of Engine companies 229, 238, 258 and 259 , Ladder companies 106, 115 and 128, Batallion 45 and Division 11 arrived at the scene along with EMS units. No one was injured in the incident, said an FDNY spokesperson.
