Admissions Begin For 2009-10 Pre-K
Families Can Apply Only This Year
      The New York City Department of Education announced that families interested in enrolling children in pre-kindergarten for the 2009-10 school year can apply beginning tomorrow, Friday, Mar. 6. Children must turn four years old by Dec. 31, 2009, to be eligible.

      St. Matthias School in Ridgewood reported that its graduating class of 2009 has been awarded a total 14 scholarships for over $150,000 to Bishop Ford, Notre Dame, Cathedral Prep, Christ the King and Mary Louis high schools.
