Board 2 To Fight Opening Of Proposed Adult Establishment

      A new strip club may soon be making its way to Long Island City, residents attending Board 2's monthly meeting on May 7 at Sunnyside Community Services learned. City Services Committee Chairperson Patrick O'Brien reported that the owners of a Bronx gentlemen's club called Sin City are in talks to open an 8,000-square-foot establishment at 42-50 21st St.

      Traveling along the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Glendale turned into a deadly ride for a young woman whose car lost control and slammed into a tree on Sunday evening, May 10, police reported. The victim was identified by law enforcement sources as 21-year-old Vidina Chetram of Queens Village, who was reportedly a student at St. John's University.
