Crook Mugged Woman In Elevator
The man seen here in these images captured from security camera footage is wanted for allegedly robbing an 81-year-old woman inside the elevator in her Bushwick apartment building, police said. Reportedly, the crook confronted the woman at a location within the confines of the 83rd Precinct at 10:19 a.m. on the morning of Monday, May 25. After a brief struggle with the elderly female, law enforcement sources said, the bandit removed her property and fled from the scene. Police described the suspect as an African-American male who was last seen wearing a multi-colored polo shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap. SUVs Smashed At Ridgewood Intersection
A collision between two sports utility vehicles at the intersection of Himrod Street and Fairview Avenue in Ridgewood last Tuesday afternoon, June 2, left one woman injured, Fire Department sources said. Members of Engine Co. 291, Ladder Co. 135, Battalion 28, the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene of the crash at around 4:40 p.m. Firefighters reportedly used the Hurst tool, also known as the "jaws of life" to open a jammed door of one of the vehicles and free the woman. Law enforcement sources said the crook trapped a 36-year-old woman inside a high-wheel turnstile at 1:05 a.m. on May 24 and displayed a screwdriver. Reportedly, the suspect removed the victim's belongings and fled from the scene on foot. The incident was later reported to the 104th Precinct and the NYPD Transit Bureau. Authorities describe the bandit as an African-American male between 40 and 45-years-old standing at 6'-tall.
