Nab Pair For Sex Sales On Border
Peddled Selves To Undercover Officer
Continuing their ongoing efforts to squash prostitution activities on the Brooklyn/Queens border in Ridgewood, police reportedly cuffed two alleged hookers who solicited an undercover officer early last Thursday morning, June 11. The suspects were identified by law enforcement sources as Joanne Mullaly, 41, of Troutman Street in Bushwick and Linda Trezza, 45, of Admiral Avenue in Middle Village. According to information provided by the Queens District Attorney's office, the two women were caught by officers from the 104th Precinct during a sting operation in the vicinity of Starr Street and Cypress Avenue at around 1:15 a.m. last Thursday. Reportedly, the pair approached unmarked vehicles in the area and of- fered to perform oral sex and/or intercourse on a male officer posing as a potential client. Upon their arrest, law enforce- ment sources said, officers discovered a number of prophylactics in each of the suspects' handbags. Mullaly and Trezza were each charged with prostitution and loitering, according to a spokesperson for Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown.
