The Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District (MABID) teamed up with the Ridgewood Local Development Corporation as well as students from the Urban Planning Academy at the Bushwick Campus High School to stage the grand opening of a new farmers' market at the Ridgewood Memorial Triangle, at the corner of Myrtle and Cypress avenues, on Saturday, July 18. Featuring cooking demonstrations, live music from a mariachi band and loads of fresh produce, the event was a rousing success.
