LORRAINE OTTEN died on October 19, 2009 at the age of 74. A native of Ridgewood, she was the beloved wife of Robert, devoted mother of Margaret Cuffe, Douglas and Wayne Otten and Valerie Popp, dear sister of Florence, Gordon and Henry Bennett and fond grandmother of Brianne and Ryan Cuffe, Ian and Justin Otten, Chris Popp and Melanie Pozarycki. She was a faithful mem- ber of St. John’s-Ridgewood United Methodist Church. Services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory.

He was the beloved husband of Beatriz, devoted father of Diana Arcos and Michael Arcos, loving son of Elena Baez Sanchez, dear brother of Fred, Jose, Raphael and Alberto Caraballo and fond grandmother of Dylan, Elias and Cristian. He was an aca- demic advisor at Queens College.
