Three Stops On Qns. Art Express
Sunnyside Collective Plans To Show Off Their Work
Sunnyside Artists, a group of 40 visual fine artists who live and work in Sunnyside and Woodside, will run three events in Sunnyside on Sunday, June 13 as part of the Queens Art Express. The Queens Art Express, which runs from June 10 to June 13, features performances, exhibitions, art events and restaurants along the route of the 7 train. The three events, all occurring from 1 to 5 p.m., are: • “Art Fair at Queen of Angels III” will feature 35 Sunnyside/Woodside fine artists and photographers exhibiting and selling their work at Queen of Angels Church, located at 44th Street and Skillman Avenue. Artists will donate 10 percent of their earnings to local food charities. Free admission. • “Portrait of the Exquisite” is the first juried show from Sunnyside Artists of 22 local Sunnyside-Woodside artists’ pieces selected on the titular theme, at the corner of 46th Street and Skillman Avenue. • “The Art of Architecture” is the first show on local architecture from architect Laura Heim. A storefront studio will exhibit vintage photographs and items of interest related to the Sunnyside Gardens Historic District. Free admission. Art is what you called masterpiece made by an artist. They may composes this in paintings, sculptures, literature and even in music which they inspire to make with thier modes of expression. I've read this site that show many Art Works made by many artist at www.slideklip.com
