DEATH NOTICES

DOROTHY C. CHIMENTO of Ridgewood died on Thursday, November 17, at the age of 90. The former owner of Caskey’s Tavern, one of Ridgewood’s oldest establishments, she was the wife of the late Charles Becker and the late Anthony Chimento, devoted mother of Darlyn Huto and James Becker, dear motherin law of Joe Huto and Cynthia Becker and daughter of the late Wilson Alvah Caskey and Lillian A. Schoenfeld. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Chimento was a past grand officer of Mizpah Star Chapter #410 OES, past president of the Glendale Post #104 Auxiliary, a member of the Laides Auxiliary of Ridgewood VFW Post #123, and an active member of Covenant Lutheran Church, AARP Glendale Chapter #4123, the Women’s Club of Glendale, the Salvation Army Home League, the Ladies Aid Association and Redeemer Lutheran Church of Glendale. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Rev. Michael Ross, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.

+++ GERTRUDE M. BRONNENKANT (nee HUFSCHMIDT) died on Sunday, November 13, at the age of 85. Anative of Germany and a long-time resident of Maspeth and Ridgewood, she was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald and is survived by her children Theresa Ciro, Gertrude and Ronald Bronnenkant, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, November 16, at St. Frances De Chantel Church, Wantagh, L.I., followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.

+++ DONALD DUGAN JACKSON died on Saturday, November 19, at the age of 50. He was the beloved son of Lorraine Jackson, loving father of Christopher and Samantha Abuso, dear brother of Debbie Pellegrino and Jennifer Jackson and cherished uncle of Melodie Mattes, Joseph Pellegrino and Andrew Pellegrino. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, November 22, at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

+++ NICOLO “NICK” CRIMI died on Wednesday, November 16, at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of Anna M. Crimi, loving father of Wayne Crimi and Gary Crimi, fatherin law of Patricia and dear brother of Agnes Adler, Angie Mortaro and Gaetano Crimi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, November 19, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

Stanlewicz Jr. and Ronette Savoth, father-in-law of Theresa and Robert and cherished grandfather of Ricky, Brittany and Dylan. She was the wife of the late James, devoted mother of Timothy, Linda Rabich, Brian and the late Michael and dear sister of Dorothy Carpenter. A ember of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, she is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of Michaels Funeral Home, 79-22 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.

+++ SUSANNA FETZER of Hawley, Pa., formerly of Glendale, died on Wednesday, November 16, at the age of 85. A native of Verbas, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Filipp Fetzer. A native of Nikolinc, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late Nicola and devoted mother of Jonel Rusovan and Katarina Rusovan. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. A native of Brooklyn, she was the wife of the late David and devoted mother of Kathleen Palulis and Mary Sheridan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. +++ ANNA PERZ of Ridgewood died on Monday, October 17, at the age of 102. A native of Relchenau, Gottschee, Austria, she was the wife of the late Ludwig and devoted mother of MaryAnn Schager.
