Before playing their final home games of the season, three New York Mets bullpen pitchers helped Citymeals on Wheels deliver meals to homebound elderly residents in Whitestone last Monday, Sept. 24. As shown, pitchers Robert Carson (at left), Jeremy Hefner (second from right) and Josh Edgin (at right) packed up boxes of meals at the Florence E. Smith Senior Services Center in Corona, then made the rounds in Whitestone. They are pictured with one of the seniors who received the meals.
