Girls Busted For Ridgewood Robbery
Three teenage girls were busted by police last Friday night, Nov. 9, moments after they allegedly mugged a female at a Ridgewood intersection, it was reported.
Law enforcement sources identified them as Mirna Lopez, 18, of Irving Avenue in Bushwick, Lady Martinez, 16, of 86th Avenue in Jamaica and Alexus Ramos, 16, of Stanley Avenue in City Line.
Reportedly, the attack took place at around 9:15 p.m. last Friday at the corner of Onderdonk and Flushing avenues.
According to information provided by the Queens District Attorney’s office, the three girls allegedly approached the female and punched her about the face and head, then pushed her to the ground.
Police said the suspects allegedly removed the female’s purse and cell phone from her hands, then fled from the location.
Members of the 104th Precinct responded to the scene. The victim suffered a laceration above her left eye and other minor injuries.
Shortly after the mugging took place, authorities noted, Lopez, Mar- tinez and Ramos were tracked down and stopped by 104th Precinct officers. Reportedly, the victim’s purse was found in Martinez’s possession.
The three youths were taken into custody by P.O. John Ryan of the 104th Precinct and were each charged with two counts of seconddegree robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.
According to court records, Lopez, Martinez and Ramos were arraigned in Queens Criminal Court last Saturday, Nov. 10, before Judge Gia Morris, who released them on their own recognizance.
They are scheduled to return to court on Dec. 12.
