FLAMES COOK BAKERY IN E. WILLIAMSBURG



No injuries were reported after a commercial bakery in East Williamsburg was burned in a one-alarm fire on Monday morning, Nov. 19, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the blaze ignited at around 8:25 a.m. inside the business located in the vicinity of Bogart Street and Johnson Avenue. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 237, 206, 218 and 271; Ladder companies 124, 108 and 146; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2; and Battalions 28 and 35—under the direction of Division 11—along with the 90th Precicnt and EMS units. Two hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
