DEATH NOTICES

JOHN MCAULEY of Glendale
died on Sunday, December 23, at the
age of 43. A native of Ridgewood, he
was the beloved husband of Diana
(nee Malfi), devoted father of Ashley
and Ariel and loving son of Edward
Marcink and the late Carole. He is
also survived by many nieces and
nephews. He was also a letter carrier
for the Ridgewood post office for 18
years. A wake will be held on Friday,
December 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. and
from 7 to 9 p.m. at Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave.,
Ridgewood. A private cremation will
be held on Saturday, December 29, at
10 a.m. at Fresh Pond Crematory in
Ridgewood.

JACOB LORISZ of Glendale died
on Wednesday, December 19, at the
age of 105. A native of Timisora, Romania, he was the husband of the late
Eva and devoted father of Anna
Michels. He is also survived by three

ERICH KOSTNER of Glendale
died on Tuesday, December 18, at the
age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Anne Marie and devoted father of Doreen, Michael, Deborah

of Our Lady of the Miraculous
