DEATH NOTICES

PATRICIA A. SHEEHAN of
Ridgewood died on Friday, June 21,
at the age of 78. A native of East
Lyme, Conn., she was the devoted
mother of James Montee. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at Our
Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Church, Ridgewood, followed by
cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood.

JOSEF STIMITZ of Ridgewood
died on Thursday, June 20, at the age
of 85. A native of RainMitterdorf,
Gottschee, Yugoslavia, he was the
husband of the late Frieda and dear
brother of Erna Hoppenthaler and
Alois Stimitz. He is also survived by
many nieces and nephews. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at St.
Brigid Church, Brooklyn, followed
by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood, under the direction
of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,

PAUL G. MAYLAHN of Menahan
Street in Ridgewood died on Friday,
June 14, at the age of 92. A native of
Brooklyn, he was the beloved brother
of Ernest Maylahn, devoted uncle to
Pauline Maylahn and Deirdre (nee
Maylahn) Darragh. He was preceded
in death by mother Pauline (nee
Jenke), father Otto and sister Caroline. He was a graduate of Grover
Cleveland High School in Ridgewood in 1939 and was employed by
United Press and Naval Architects,
Gibbs and Cox in New York City before serving in the U.S. Army Air
Corps during World War II. A longtime employee of CARE, he was also
an avid classical music lover and a
member of the Met Opera guild for
six decades. He was interred on Monday, June 17, at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of San Jose
Funeral Home-Funeraria LLC, St.
Nicholas Avenue, Ridgewood.

RAFAEL M. SEQUEIRA, MD.
died on Sunday, June 16, at the age
of 82. He was the beloved husband of
Teresa M. Sequeira, loving father of
Ricardo Sequeira, Rodrigo Sequeira,
Teresa Sequeira-Lundy, Maria Elena
Simek, Patricia Sequeira, Ronald D.
Sequeira, Rodolfo M. Sequeira and
the late Rafael M. Sequeira and
Rolando Sequeira, cherished grandfather of Vanessa, Nicholas, Christopher Michael, Max R., Alexandra,
Richard, Gabriella, Raymond,
Danielle and Thomas and greatgrandfather of Issac. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on

Church, Woodside, followed by interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery,
East Elmhurst, under the direction of

on Friday, June 14, at the age of 80.
He was the beloved husband of
Regina Grzybowska, loving father of
Ryszard Grzybowski, Grazyna Zalewski and Marek Grzybowski, father in-law of Beata, Zbigniew and
Stanislawa and cherished grandfather
of Karol, Eryk, Kinga, Adrian and
Amanda. He is also survived by
many nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered on Monday, June 17, at
Holy Cross Church, Maspeth, followed by interment at Maple Grove
Cemetery, Kew Gardens, under the

RICHARD R. DONADIO died on
Saturday, June 8, at the age of 84. He
was the beloved husband of Cathie
Donadio and loving father of
Theresa, Anthony, Joseph, Raymond
and Rita. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who
served during World War II. A Mass

ROSALIE FERRARA died on Sunday, June 9, at the age of 88. She was
the wife of the late Louis Salvatore
Ferrara, loving mother of James Ferrara and Mary Lou Botto, cherished

great-grandmother of Giuliana and
