Armed Bushwick Bandits On The Run



Police are asking the public’s help in tracking down two teenagers wanted for a recent stickup at a subway station in Bushwick. Law enforcement sources said the robbery occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 26 at the Wilson Avenue L train station, located in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue and Moffat Street. Reportedly, the two perpetrators approached a 22-year-old man, displayed a firearm and removed the victim’s iPhone. The bandits then fled from the scene on foot. The incident was reported to the 83rd Precinct and the NYPD Transit Bureau; the victim was not injured. Police described the suspects as black males believed to be 17 years of age. One of the perpetrators stands 5’10”- tall, weighs 180 lbs. and was seen wearing a blue shirt and black shorts. The other suspect is described as standing 6’-tall, weighing 150 lbs. and was last observed wearing a white t-shirt and brown shorts.
