HE STOLE FROM TOT IN JACKSON HEIGHTS



Police are asking the public for help in tracking down the man pictured in security cameras who allegedly took jewelry from a toddler at a McDonald’s restaurant in Jackson Heights last month. Law enforcement sources said the theft took place at 1:47 p.m. on Aug. 30 at the fast-food eatery located at 37-59 82nd St. Reportedly, the perpetrator—described as 40-year-old balding man who was seen wearing a gray button-down shirt and blue jeans—followed a three-year-old girl up the steps and snatched a gold necklace and charm from the child’s neck. He then fled from the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The theft was reported to the 115th Precinct; the girl was not injured.
